Who We Are: Eileen and Liki
Continuing our series introducing our team, this week we spoke to accounts manager, Eileen, and materials specialist, Liki.
What does being an accounts manager mean, Eileen?
I’m responsible for paying suppliers, collecting money from customers and, most importantly, paying staff their wages. Then, at the end of each month, I tie it all together so Beks can plan for future growth.
How long have you been with the company?
Three years - originally I was hired for maternity leave cover, but I am still here!
What is your favourite shoe or go-to style?
I love my Axel boots - my tan pair from last year and I have just started wearing plum for this season. I also love the Siege boot (I walked miles in Otago last year) and my pink Joy loafers from summer just gone.
What is your fondest C&H memory?
It’s great working with a younger group of people - it keeps me on my toes and up to date!
What is your proudest achievement?
I get great satisfaction from having refined our financial reporting, as it makes decision-making within the company easier and faster.
Liki is based in China and is responsible for our materials development and procurement - she helps us find all the great, textured leathers you’ve come to know and love.
She is very diligent, and is nicknamed "the hard-working little bee"!
“I love all Chaos & Harmony shoes and working with the New Zealand team. I’ve gotten to know a lot of different, new materials and am constantly improving my English. Work is my best teacher!”
